New York: Bobbs-Merrill, 1904. Hard Cover. Cardboard covers with cororful garden entrance scene bearing a heart with two lover's heads inside rose buds kissing. The garden wall continues on the back cover. The book is 81/2" x 111/2" and presents in poor condition with corners and edges very worn, as are the top and bottom of the spine. The front top corner bears a water stain and has bearly run through. Interspersed with charming poetry are a series of lovely illustrations throughout. both black and white and color depicting lover's as part of the flower.
The illustration a full page representing the frontspiece has come loose and is laid in. Item #3156
