London: Collins, 1947. Hard Cover. DW, with a tattered spine at both ends. There is some wear to all edges of the DW as well as to all corners that are chipped and worn. The spine is sunned the pages yellowed. There is what appears to be water damage about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom of the spine edge,front and back but it has not bled through to any pages.

There are 48 plates in colour and 127 illustrations in black and white. Item #3324
