New York: Harper & Brothers, 1845. Hard Cover. HC in brown covers with a frame of decorative art on both the front and back covers. In the center of the front cover is a gilt pair of hands bearing a torch. This also appears on the rear cover without gilt. The spine is chipped and worn at the top and bottom. A piece about 1/3 the length of the spine appears to have been reglued on. The pages are yellowed, untrimmed, spotted from age and fragile. despite its age the binding is tight.
Chapter headings include: Somnolence, Pre-Mature Interment- Resuscitation, Moral Causes of Dreaming, Demonology, and Revery. Item #3604
