Sans DW in a in red, yellow and olive green very bright and colorful front cover depicting flowers and baby angels aflight with the sun in the background and the sun, a steeple with a pelican atop on the rear cover. The spine both top and bottom is in tatters with pieces missing. There is wear at the inside edge with a small tear at the top of the front cover and a 2" tear at the rear lower spine. All corners are worn through. The pages are uncut and yellowed. The frontspiece with a lovely full page color illustration, tissue protected, has pulled away from the binding and laid back in. There are 90 illustrations black/white; a full page illustration at the beginning of each of 38 chapters. Item #3607
