The front cover bears the title and a depiction of two young children in a field rerading under an umbrella. The background is dominated by a number of sheep. All four corners are badly worn through, as well as the rear edge.(top and side) The spine is worn at top and bottom. The rear cover is dominated by advertisements for other Lothrop publications. Pages are a bit yellowed. The binding, despite the age of the book is tight.
