The front cover is graced by a photo (?) headshot of a woman of the era holding a covered casserole, Its original price was 50 cents. The cover is badly soiled , corners are all worn through as are the covers edges. The taped spine is in reasonably good condition. 75 pages of recipes including "invalid cookery" and "canning and preserving".
The pages are badly yellowed. There are recipes penned inside both the front and rear covers. Many stains appears on pages throughoyt. The rear cover shows a "tub" of Cottolene with the following: "Nature's Gift from the Sunny South" and " Shortens Your Food Lengthens your Life" Item #3946
