New York: A. L. Burt Co., 1925. Hard Cover. HC sans DW by the author of Heidi. Spine badly faded with top and bottom and a 2" tear midway. Corners are bent woth the top front and rear worn through. The illustration on the front cover shows eight children being greeted by the lady of a house in the allps. The mountains appear in the background. Front and rear covers are scraped and soiled. Pages are yellowed , the ffront cover is pulling away from the binding.
Inside the front cover is a presentation note from a school superintendent of schools to student. Item #4014
