All four corners are worn; the top two worn through. The front cover at the lower front near the fore-edge has a two areas that are stained the size of a dime. Pages are yellowed. There are eight illustrations; one between pages 158-159 and one between 176-177 are loose and laid in. Pages between 161-176 are pulled away from the binding but still attached.
