New York: S. French, 1855. First edition. Hard Cover. Sans DW in green embossed front and rear covers. The spine is faded but readable gilt title and a standing figure in gilt as well. The top and bottom of the spine are worn , creasded with the bottom slightly frayed. Two corners are worn through two are not.Remarkably good condition considering its age. Page are yellowed and there is some spotting on the first fand last few pages. There are several pages of "coming soon" titles at the rear.
Previous owners bookplate affixed inside the front cover. Item #4352
